That last reunion of B-47 flight and ground crews is today through the 20th at Offutt Air Force Base outside Omaha. Time has whittled down the number of veterans, leading to the decision to make this the last reunion. Just saw this in the local paper today, as a guy from the neighborhood is going. I suppose anyone writing about the B-47 needs to crash the party for interviews! |
