Ran across this and thought some might like the background music for their Vietnam games:

Thanks! This will be handy for when my group is playing Arma 3 on the Vietnam servers.

Thanks.

The question for Vietnam gaming music is usually, do I play Jimi Hendrix or not? Lots of American soldiers listened to Hendrix on their own tapes, but I have read (notably but not exclusively in Dispatches by Michael Herr) that he was never played on AFVN.

Love Hendrix, so I say yes.

Play it loud!

"Play it loud!"

A quote from Dylan…anyone know where, when and why? Without Googling it 🤣

The quote I remember was, "I don't care what you play, just play it loud!" Robin Williams from the movie Good Morning Vietnam.

Dylan to the Band, during a gig in England, after being called a traitor (or something like that) by a poor disappointed folk fan.

Manchester Free Trade Hall. Dylan's response to being called Judas by a heckler was "I don't believe you…you're a liar" before turning to the band (or indeed The Band) and saying "Play it loud…play it Bleeped texting loud" and going into Like a Rolling Stone
