You can use Pulp Alley for just about anything. The Horror card deck they have is great for Gothic Horror. |

I would recommend the less well known Arkeo Obskura. Although it works perfectly well as a traditional game AO was designed specifically to allow Co-Operative (all players vs the system) or Solo gameplay in a narrative campaign format where your characters advance in skill and equipment. link |

I've been using Donnybrook skirmish rules. A Donnybrook Dark version is in the works for specific horror games. |

2nd, on Empire of the Dead. |

Empire of the dead looks very steam punk… I'm more after rules that cover classic gothic stuff.. Pulp alley doesn't look to have many retailers.. |

You can purchase the Pulp Alley rules as PDF's from Wargames Vault – if that helps. |

Donnybrook can be used as is – a 'Cultist' faction appears in the rules. The Dark version is written – we just need to get the finger out and publish it! |

I just hate it when Evil Cultists steal the Finger of Publishing! Or did that big Moon Puppy go and bury it somewhere? |

Well put! (unlike the Finger:)) |
