You can use Pulp Alley for just about anything. The Horror card deck they have is great for Gothic Horror.

Rebelminis has Lovecraft's Revenge

I would recommend the less well known Arkeo Obskura.

Although it works perfectly well as a traditional game AO was designed specifically to allow Co-Operative (all players vs the system) or Solo gameplay in a narrative campaign format where your characters advance in skill and equipment.

I've been using Donnybrook skirmish rules. A Donnybrook Dark version is in the works for specific horror games.

2nd, on Empire of the Dead.

Empire of the dead looks very steam punk… I'm more after rules that cover classic gothic stuff..

Pulp alley doesn't look to have many retailers..

You can purchase the Pulp Alley rules as PDF's from Wargames Vault – if that helps.

Donnybrook can be used as is – a 'Cultist' faction appears in the rules. The Dark version is written – we just need to get the finger out and publish it!

I just hate it when Evil Cultists steal the Finger of Publishing!

Or did that big Moon Puppy go and bury it somewhere?

jocknroll19 Sep 2018 1:49 a.m. PST

Well put! (unlike the Finger:))
