Does anyone have a size comparison of the nighthaunt to other figures, maybe with a ruler? I'd like to compare vs Lord of the Rings figures, though I think the nighthaunt will be much too big. I am not sure whether size difference will matter with their floating style. thanks andy |

Nighthaunt are much larger than the LoTR figures which are true 25mm. The don't come close to matching in size. |

I think the LotR are a bit bigger than true 25mm. I've heard them more often described as true (rather than heroic) 28mm, but that might be due to some variation within the line. I'm sure the nighthaunt are bigger than "true 28mm". But because they are rather ethereal, I'd like to see side by side and compare for myself. I grabbed some pictures from GW's site and tried to put into a single picture, scaling each so the bases are the same size, but I probably need a different tool. I'm not so sure at the moment. andy |

Andy, I could make up some comparison photos, I have a finished unit of the Nighthaunt Chainrasps. I don't have any GW LOTR minis. but I could put them side by side with some of GW's Warhammer stuff so you could get some reference. But I can tell you, they were much smaller than I thought they would be. These I think are indeed close to true 28mm. I bought them for Frostgrave and they are right in scale with the metal wizard/apprentice minis. that Northstar makes as well as their plastic undead. One thing I can tell you here is that they are shorter in height than the Stormcasts. |

Thanks. If you did, could you stick a ruler in it? Please don't feel obliged, but I might be able to scale just a bit better that way. At the moment, my fluff is trending away from needing to find some other undead stuff to go with these. But I am interested in the figures. andy |
