This is my second attempt at British uniforms for the Peninsular War. Perrys light dragoons box has the 14th. with helmet, but "British Napoleonic uniforms shows them with a Shako? I've put them in helmets, how bad have I screwed up? |

It depends what year you are talking about. Before 1812 they would have worn the helmet and the frogged jacket, after 1812 the shako and spencer jacket though it would take time to come in. As a matter of interest, the Perrys uniform information leaflet has both orders of dress. |

A large part of the British army in Spain had a big issue of uniforms during the winter of 1812/1813. I would guess that it is likely this is when most units swapped to the new style. |
