Chester is a gem. It is hardly obscure, although I can think of other places which get a lot more prominence, but are a lot less interesting. |

Great! We thoroughly enjoyed Chester on our visits to the UK in 1984 and 1985. I fear I missed the Boot Inn to my chagrin! |

is a big fan of the Age of Sail, and these ships really speak to him - he loves transitional eras, and the Anglo-Dutch Wars was one of those.
