According to all my books the Egyptians only received around 200 T 62s which were allocated to just 2 units. These appear to be the 1967 model and one of my other books refers to it as the 1966 model. The new Battlefront model appears to be a later type looking at the loaders hatch. Possibly a 1972 model ? Did the Egyptians use these later model types during the 73 war? I have to date not found any evidence of them using this late model . A lot of their T62 order was received after the war and could have been of this later model? Just wondering if anyone as any info? Thanks |

I just wanted to also add. The picture that Battlefront use for the T62 box is of the earlier type T62 and is NOT the model supplied within the set. |

is NOT the model supplied within the set. Like the T64s which have several parts shown on the box photo and the assembly diagram but are not in the box. |
