If you decide to support some wargaming event or item, which platform do you prefer to use, Kickstarter or Indiegogo? Or something third? Or there are no difference for you?

If you are planning crowd funding mate dont even bother to look at anything outside Kickstarter for selling miniatures.

Kickstarter

Indiegogo has made it harder and harder to do things. Kickstarter has more advantages.

IGG requires payment when you pledge and no longer accepts PayPal. The PP option used to offset the pay-in-advance requirement.

KS doesn't do PP either, but at least you don't have to pay until after it is funded.

Kickstarter for the win, at least from a backer's viewpoint.

I feel Indiegogo uncomfortable too. Many modern blings and little simple and understandable things. They are even not accessible from my main browser.

Kickstarter, on other hand, are well supported by help and easily understandable. Problem is, Kickstarter is not available on my country yet.

I look forward and think about to improve my sculpting request service on next years.

Kickstarter system makes available suitable production line – month for deciding and two months for producing. Fits well with my slowness. This also avoid requests overload.

fortunately kickstarter is not available yet for you, I prefer the old system.

Don't worry. Old system don't disappear, it cover individuals, who prefer to order sets by himself, because no other may want these.

Kickstarter is good for sharing the expences and to find out demand.
