Back in the day, I remember that when GW released the Battle of the Five Armies boxed game, they also had a few blister packs in metal. What were the blister packs?
I think there were bats, spiders, giants, mounted elves and some dwarves, but I can remember what all of the packs were?

Gigantic Bats, storm giants, hill trolls, elf cavalry, goblin guard, dwarf archers, spiders, and Smaug (dragon).
You can find suitable figs from other lines for these (I went 15mm for the bats and spiders), except for dwarf archers. NOBODY makes those, and they cost an arm and a leg and three more toes on eBay.

I have a bunch of these lying around somewhere. If I can find them I'll sell them off at a reasonable price to a fellow TMP member.

I ebayed mine a few year back and got between £35.00 GBP and £60.00 GBP for each one!

@Rdraf: Send me an e-mail using my TMP member name @aol.com, and maybe we can make a deal on a few blisters.

Actually, Pendraken does offer some Dwarf archers with normal bows as a part of its Hill Dwarfs range for the warband product line.

Unfortunately, the Pendragon dwarfs are bulky and oversized, even compared to GW's Warmaster line. For some reason, they're sculpted at full 10mm height, same as a man, orc, or elf. That makes them more than half again as large as the Bo5A figures, which are small to begin with. I have Kallistra/Pendragon dwarf gyrocopters, but they work fine as they're suspended high above their ground brethren. Pendraken dwarf infantry might as well be 15mm. frown

BTW, how many hill trolls were in the blister for Bo5A? Thanks

9 trolls for three stands of three trolls each. There are at least five different poses (not near my collection at the moment, but I had the rule book handy). As long as you pull off three stands worth, you're good with any substitute.
