Well, with teddy bear fur mats for playing Battle Cry on that is.

Guys, here's a few pictures of the two games we played today – the Gettysburg 2nd & 3rd Day scenarios from the 150th Anniversary edition of the board game (3D-ized).

The last one here – Pickett's Charge on a small scale (buddy Wild Bill actually got two units into the Yankee fence line objectives near The Angle, but was blasted back by the Yankee artillery and infantry holding the woods just beyond….

We've always enjoyed Battle Cry for its light, quick gaming fun, and the new TB mats which have replaced my previously-made boards add that little bit of impetus to break out the game, and try it like it was new and shinny all over again.

Thanks Ivan and Phil!

When I get the chance, I'm going to mix up the color on these board mats with some lighter green, brown, and tan patches (it's still a work in progress). :)
