Whenever my google-fu and searching fails me, I always turn to TMP. If you guys dont know it, its not worth knowing. I want to put white military name deals on the shoulder pads of my *cough* Space marines! (dont judge me! I feel the judging!). I have found all kinds of verlinden WW2 uniform decals, including ranks and such. But I cannot find ANYONE who has names.

Id prefer 1/32 or slightly larger white stencil names. i cant make them myself, because I cant print white.

Does anyone have a good source?

Thanks!

Solider names will definitely be better than more transparent names!

You could try handwriting with a very very very fine pointed artist's pen.

The only time US troops have white nametapes was Sailor blue coveralls. And the sailor models you can usually find are flight deck types who would have their coveralls under several layers of other clothing.

You might have to get a white pen. Bad news is that Sakura doesn't make a micron pen in white, just a gel ball-point with a fine tip.

Actually, hold that thought. Try model aircraft decals for 1950s Navy planes. They should have pilot names in white.

Failing that, paint the white patch. Then print names yourself on decal paper (best of all, this way you can put your friends' names on the tapes).

Could you use a label maker with a white on clear or white on black cartridge using the smallest font?

Lion in the Stars06 Sep 2018 7:45 p.m. PST

I don't think the label makers get small enough to make a ~2mm tall name tape, BuckeyeBob.

Irishman, I'm not a genius in the slightest, but you're welcome!

Thank you as well Extra Crispy. It may be some combination of the two.
