And if it wins the favorite battle to refight poll that will be a clean sweep for Rorke´s Drift. Is there a trifecta we could bet on? |

Looks like we need to bring out the Zulu war figures and terrain. |

My good wargaming buddy was one of the gamers here in Jackson who helped Larry Brom develop "The Sword and the Flame" back in the day. He said they fought Rorke's Drift so many times that he grew sick of it. But he proved that he could lose the scenario with both the British and the Zulus. Of course his dice rolling has always been sub-par so that migh texpalin it. The "trifecta" would have been if Larry Brom had won the "Game Designers That [sic – should have been Who] Impacted the Hobby" poll. TMP link Jim |

I've been the battlefield several times and Rorke's Drift is one of my favourite battles from a historical point of view… but one of the least appealing as a wargame (in my humble opinion – you are welcome to disagree). |

We have played the battle several times and it always gives a good game – the trick is to build the battle in phases more here link |
