Anyone ever use these seemingly sister painting services? Any comments or photos of projects you received? I am having a bit of a hard time finding a painter who can do German three color schemes to my taste. These people seem to do a good job but I've never heard of any reviews of their work. Never heard any complaints either. |

Wait, you paint professionally and you got things painted professionally for you!? Dude, you're freaking me out, as they say in in the movies. Did they paint the Tiger's? |

I'm not a professional painter. I am a particularly bad unprofessional painter who would rather hire when possible:) |

Oh, I see, you're plugging Wee Warriors! I am sorry, I thought you ran Wee Warriors. You do understand that I was asking about specific experiences with two comapnies with the generic names "Miniature Figure Painter" and "Flames of War Painting" and not looking foreither a miniature figure painter or a flames of war painter? In any case, after de-confusing myself, I do appreciate the input and shall send them an inquiry. |

I used FoW painting service a few years back. In my opinion the cost was reasonable and the quality of what they delivered was very high. However, delivery was ridulously slow and I had to spend a lot of time writing many emails to chase them up. In the end half the figures were returned unpainted (my choice) as frankly I gave up. I believe the proprietor was dealing with an ill family member at the time so things may have changed since that time. If I were to consider giving them another go it would only be with small amounts until they could restore my confidence. |

Might just be my tired old eyes but many of the pictures on the weewarrior website look annoyingly out of focus. Not a great start for a painting site. |

It's not just you. My eyesight is just fine and I also cant really see the details of the Wee Warrior stuff. That's not isolated to them, though and quite a few painters make sure you cant really see their work. Are they based in Spain? That's another problem not necessarily because of the painters but I understand the mail is a toss up for your package ever getting to you. I hear you about Flames of War Painting. I suspect that because they do a nice job on German camouflage they get inundated with desperate gamers like myself. I dont mind a wait but the year long odyssey aint for me. |

MiniPigs. Yes I was confused as to what you were asking. Sorry for that. |

@GatorDave, It's not your fault at all. Both of those company names are hyper generic and I dont think that's an accident. Please, tell us more about the process and experience with Wee Warriors. |

I mailed them (Flames of War Painting) 2 years ago for a commission and after we agreed on a price I had the minis (28mm US Marines, they're on his FB somewhere) send over. At first everything went ok but after a while no updates anymore and progress became very very slow. Sporadically he updates his FB with finished commisions but never my stuff. Now 2 years later we agreed he send the half painted minis back with no extra payment. Lost half my money… Too late for PayPal claim. Not recommended… |

Thats a long time to wait. And nothing is worse than a painter not finishing a job, except of course disappearing with your minis and money. |
