Hi All, We played a Tank On Tank Micro Armour game yesterday with my buddy Dave's great-looking 1/285th minis and terrain, and had a super time with his scenario. Just thought I'd give him shout-out here, and a big "thanks" by posting a few pictures of his stuff which I took during the action -

Very pretty. I'm also interested in how the terrain mat was done. |

Hey Guys! The original digital file was purchased from Ivan at Wargame Print, as a downloadable texture file (he has lots of downloadable image files for game mats available, and he also does many of the textured masters you can buy as complete mats from Tiny Wargames). The direct link to this mat's digital original - link Tiny Wargames - tinywargames.co.uk I brightened up the original image's colors, and replaced a lot of the plowed fields with open field textures, and then had the image printed out as a 6 ft. X 4 ft. vinyl mat via the print shop I use in Indiana. After I specify my "banner's" dimensions on the printer's website, and any finishing options (none), and pay for the product, I'm prompted to upload my image file to their server, and then wait for the mat to be printed up and shipped to my doorstep in a nice cardboard tube (which I use to store and protect each mat in, and to transport them in when traveling to a game day). Btw, this thread was a "bug" victim when I posted it, as mine was a single AAR thread written up on the WW2 page - TMP link I'll monitor this "Latest Terrain Piece" thread though too, along with the other AAR posting (in case there's more discussion in either). |
