I can't be around cats without a serious allergic reaction, so I wouldn't even be able to use them in that capacity. :)

Heard a story of a guy that brought minis to the local game store for a few games. End of the night, he packs up and notices the next day that he's missing a squad. Calls the store, no one has seen them or turned them in.

Store guy is eating lunch at a game table a few days later, notices a squad of infantry in a copse of trees eyeballing his sandwich. Very well camouflaged!
