Gennady, your Russian Grenadier regiment is so beautiful, that I saved the picture 1). as future reference when I paint Russians and 2). just because they are beautiful!

If to speak seriously, then me now 50 years. I have begun to paint miniatures in 40 years so, I think, all have time stock (in comparison with me) well to learn to do it.

The painting is fantastic but to be sure I believe the figures themselves are Foundry. Is that correct?

18th Century Guy so true, great painting talents are indeed a dying art but even more so the mold making and casting of the figures. All of our talents in painting would be largely for naught were it not for the talents and skills of the mold makers and foundry casting people.
