Do you know of undead about the same size as GW's LotR (now ME) figures? Any that might match in style to the Army of the Dead? I will be getting some of these dead with the new boxed set, and don't intend to paint them glowing green. But if I wanted some variety, anywhere specific to turn? I've also been interested in the Nighthaunt figures, but would guess they are large, at least the parts that are present. (I also wouldn't do them glowing green.) Got any size comparisons? thanks andy |

I think the Mantic figures for undead are a decent match size-wise. GW Warhammer are bigger and bulkier, though the old metal grave guard are a match. |

Thanks. This may also help me narrow down what I'm after … I don't care for either undead dressed in very death-themed armor, etc. And I don't like the scowling skulls. You know the brow-down evil faces. How do they make their bones do that? Mantic might be OK, but have the scowling skulls. I haven't seen old GW grave guard, but current ones have a lot of bat wing decorations. I saw Fireforge recently, and like them. Might be more Warhammer size and too big for me. andy |

I got some of GW's Morgul Knights. I haven't put together yet, but I think I'm going to really like these. andy |

Undead skeletons are brought back from the grave by the ancient and dark powers of cuthulu or who ever via a necronomicon for dummies or such. They are twisted evil abominations, hence the sour expressions. They are not to be confused with laboratory specimens. |
