Greetings from PA. Read your report. Glad to hear you can maker it for the whole weekend. I am driving to the con from the outskirts of Philadelphia. I haven't pre-registered for any games either. I couldn't decide there are so many excellent choices. I figure I'll narrrow it down when I get there.

I'm on my way out this morning, get there around noon. Hopefully I'll get to put some faces with the TMP handles.

I am moving to the Philadelphia area from South Florida this weekend. I am trying to plot the shortest route so that I may be able to see historicon for the first time.

Notes:
Am at H'con.
Host has Wireless Internet.
Most of my favourite games are full :(
Played a WW2 skirmish game hosted by Antonio Portilla.
Waiting to get some gamers drunk enough to let them switch their seat with me ;)

Offer to help set up a game that you want to get into. Hang around and maybe someone will leave.

Here is a news flash. Just back from Hcon for the night. Picking up the boys (5 and 7) and heading back up Friday afternoon. The place was rockin! 2000 gamers the first day and the rush has not yet started. The exhibitor hall was busy as all get out. Tons of games and everyone but one guy having fun. Expect the place to be very busy. They ran out of pork, beef and other goodies by 20:00. Had to go to the Resturant to get some chow and then back to the board meeting. We finished 22:30 had a beer with some folks and headed home (2 hour drive). Just walked in the door and eating again. Got to pack get the kids ready and back up Fri afternoon. Good news is I have a room on the pool!

There seemed to be more of the littler scales present, and overall a bit more diversity of offerings this year among dealers. Pendraken had a large stock (Arsenal), Baccus had Heritage Studios with a large stock, ODGW had its 10mm figs out in large quantity, and GHQ had a few racks for its 10mm and 6mm both. And, of course, Old Glroy had its 10mm lines.

@Saber6: Webcams are actually a good idea and can work! The Host already has Internet Acces. It is just a question of extending their wireless network to cover the game halls.
