After 48 years of wargaming I finally got around to air combat! Some photos of a game from my Operation Nostalgia campaign using Bag the Hun rules. GQ3 were used for the final attack on the British fleet. Models are 1/600 from Tumbling Dice. More details on my blog with an AAR. grymauch.blogspot.com

Briliant! Good to see some Bag the Hun in action. Great blog too BTW.

Good write up.

What are you using for aircraft stands?

Grymauch26 Aug 2018 4:53 a.m. PST

Many thanks boggler and BattlerBritain.

The component parts of the bases I bought from ebay. They are 30mm hex perspex bases, clear acrylic rod which are then cut to the appropriate length, and 2mm x 0.5mm disk magnets.

Cheers for that.

I'm just looking at getting some bases for 1/600th and wondered what size to get.

My apologies BattlerBritain. I did not get the hex bases from ebay but from here fluid3dworkshop.co.uk
