Of which colour paint do you have the most variants? How about the least? I think we focus on the ROYGBIV model adding black, white, brown, pink, silver, and gold for what constitutes a colour. Of course, if you have 79 different shades of metallic green paint, that's OK too … Most: Brown (13)

I think of grey as a colour with a spectrum, mostly because my major colour management effort is with pixels where black is 000000 and white is FFFFFF – absolute ends of the colour space. Plus, there are non-white/black only greys and non grey blacks and whites. Eggshell is a slightly yellowish white. You can also have "cool" and "warm" greys. I should have added it to the colour list. |

The most: I actually have a bunch of different blacks, including at least three different brands of flat black spray paint, a sample of carbon black housepaint that I'm using for some terrain work, and two or three small jars or bottles such as Vallejo and Citadel. The least: I think that I have only two each of yellow, red, and gold. (I'm not at home, so I can't actually go check.) |

Most of my paints live in a set of 3x5 card file drawers I got cheap at a used office supply store. My rainbow is mostly browns, blues and greens – I have an overflowing drawer of each. I have a drawer that is mostly grays, but that one also includes the whites, blacks, and metallics, and brush-on primers. All the reds, oranges and yellows fit in a single drawer alongside some big jars of acrylic media. - Ix |

Definitely brown
Followed by blue, the even more brown. Don't know that I own any purple. I tend to mix to get the proper purple anyway. |
