Placed an order on July 30 and it arrived in California from Russia today. I think that that is a pretty amazing turn around. It was well packaged, too. I will definitely order from them again.

What did you buy?

PaulCollins22 Aug 2018 6:24 p.m. PST

I bought the Captain Batiste miniature

who will be a character in a musketeer campaign using By Savvy and Steel by twohourwargames. His hat, sword scabbard, cape, and arms are separate, so there are positioning options and clothing options. His head has a scarf, but I think I'll use the hat.

A nice-looking figure.

I wonder how the drawn resin sword and dagger will stand up to tabletop handling?

I had a lot of similar Three Musketeers figures. They hold up fine. I was mostly doing saloon brawl games.

EDIT. Oh. Resin. I don't know.

You ordered a single mini from Russia ??

I've always had excellent service from Brother Vinni – I've ordered a fair few of their historical & fantasy figures. They are always well boxed and postage is very reasonable (free if ordering €50.00 EUR+ worth).

nnascati,

I just wanted this one figure and they don't gouge for shipping. It was an expense that I was okay with, not outrageously expensive, and the figure captured the feel that I was looking for. And now I have an idea of their good service, so I feel like I can make larger orders in the future.

btw, the turn around was such that I had the figure in my hands as quick or quicker than if I had ordered from somewhere closer to home.

My recommendation is feel safe ordering from them regardless of where you are.

Good to know.

Brother Vinni is not in Russia anymore. IIRC they moved to Slovakia.
