The hero Amphion favored of Zeus sails to a mysterious island in search of a lost treasure.
Amphion and his three most trusted men set out to explore the coast in the morning.
They returned at dusk only to find all his men turned to stone on the beach!

Castor warns the group to stay away from them as they are an omen of death.
Someone or something will die here tonight.

Amphion enraged charged her using his shield to cover her from his view!

Castor moved up within range of casting Zeus's lightning bolt.
The young Idas ran along the tree line hoping to flank her and launch his spear into the creature.
Protected by his cloud cloak Idas moved closing fast.

Medusa fired three arrows at the charging Amphion!
The first flew overhead.
The second blasted into his shield and Amphion broke his arm strap loosing it!
Unprotected by his lost shield the third arrow shatters against his armor of Olympus!

Amphion launches into his savage attack!
Calling upon the spirit of Zeus his blade slices into Medusa's gut!
Red ichor and small snakes poured from the wound.
Hylas caught a glance of Medusa and the merest sight of her sent fear through his body causing him to pause!
Castor pulls his spear and charges into the fight.
The young Idas peers over the ruins to see where the fight is.
Suddenly in his view she catches his sight!
To frightened to look away the young Idas is turned to stone where he stands!!!!

Medusa drops her bow and pulls a short sword.
She spins and slashes right through Hylas's shield shattering it!
The blade then strikes his iron armor and finds his flesh beneath!
Hylas receives a grievous wound and collapses on the ground bleeding.
Medusa swings at Amphoin but he ducks and her swing goes wild!

The wise Castor times his thrust and catches medusa in the ribs!
He buries the tip deep into her flesh!
Amphion slashes his blade harmlessly across her shoulder.
Amphion's rage grows into white hot hate and with a slash quick as Hermes himself he relives medusa of her head and life!
She collapses to the ground and her poison blood pours out into the soil.

That was an account of our first game of Typhon. Everyone had fun and it was quite cinematic.

Thank you! I loved that account and it sums up just what Typhon should and could be. I will share the link!

SHARED! On our Facebook Group and my own feed.

I had tremendous fun painting up almost the entire range a few years ago. The added size makes all the difference. The rules, too, are a blast; of all the sets I've seen they best reflect a knowledge of the Greek atmosphere (and the great bard Harryhausen!).

Thank you for that and for the kind words.
