My TSATF scenario has been uploaded to the Hurricon 2018 game grid. In addition, the colonial TSATF table has a game booked for every session during the con as well as a few other TSATF games to be run on other tables during the con. There are also plenty of other great games registered and some still to be registered.

This is a follow up game based on the results from the last game played in this scenario series, The Hun The Frog & The Lion.

Kaiser's Revenge – Morocco 25 March 1903
The recovery of Kaiser William II's favorite nephew by the Bashaw's Black Guard has given the German government a black eye. Calls for revenge and invasion by Hun politicians has been quelled by the formation of an expedition to recover the envoy manned by Aryan troops alone. The failure of the last mission was attributed to the inclusion of subpar French troops.
Having captured the German envoy the Bashaw's Black Guard is taking him back to Tangiers. Intel from a sympathetic member of the Bashaw's court revealed their line of march to a German agent. The German expedition is intent on attacking the column at or near the the port vill of El Safir before it reaches Tangiers.

As the Aryan strike force approaches the port town in the German gunboat Angriff another vessel is spotted on the horizon steaming towards the city. It appears to be flying a French flag…

Good on you, Sgt. Baumal!

Your productions of my old "The Hun, The Frog, and The Lion" scenario have always been smashing good times for the participants, from all accounts.

And I love the premise of this "Chapter 2," of what may become a "Never Ending Story." I'd love to see the Frogs try to stick it back to the Huns. And how long before the Yanks or Limey's get sucked into this thing?

Go get 'em, Jeff!

TVAG, you catch on quickly sir, please stand by for the next episode!

My Intel to date states that the Americans are mobilizing in their SW Asia base for an undisclosed location, as of yet…

There has also been much radio traffic between the British and French in the region, though nothing is certain at this time.

It really is a great scenario vehicle with almost endless possibilities. Thank you for allowing me to do it justice.

I hope to post scenario specifics, but not until after the battle. I don't want any one party to gather more Intel than their foes. Loose lips really do sink ships…. or gunboats that is. Speaking of gunboats we will be using Last Stand Dan's "Gunboat & Dhow" rules for the naval portions of these actions and "The Sword And The Flame" for land battles. The G&D naval rules mesh seamlessly with TSATF land actions.

PS – I like your PAORD range. You've got ALL you need to refight the all the battles from the movie. 15mm Figures For An "Almost War" in Morocco, 1904, "Perdicaris Alive, Or Raisuli Dead!,". Too bad I do 28mm.

Coolyork, wow, awesome paradise indeed my friend! And I you, but you are quite the GM yourself. Your games are beautiful and big fun as well. We've been pushing lead and rolling dice together for over 25 years…

Marc33594, and I am signed up for your game. Your rapid fire games are a high point for me every HMGS-South con. It's a must do on my com list each and every con.

Ragbones, thabk you for the kind words. I hope to not disappoint and will try to produce an AAR worthy of the players.

Cheers,
JB

The game did not go exactly the way Jeff expected due to backroom deals between the Pirate, Bashaw and German commander and a maniacal Black Guard commander. The Bashaw struck a deal with the German commander (me) to turn over the Kaiser's nephew in return for my gunboat not turning his position into mulch. At the same time the Pirate commander made a deal with me to turn over the nephew if they could have the French gunboat. Neither knew I had a deal with the other. After I destroyed a gun position the deal was struck. I then fired on the French, while the Pirates headed to board the French gunboat. Then I found out that the maniacal Black Guard commander cut the nephew's throat, pissing everyone off. We all attacked the guard and recovered the nephew's body. Jeff ruled that turning the French gunboat over to the Pirates helped the Germans get a major victory. The game was a lot of fun due to the players involved and the scenario.

Just think of it as Diplomacy on steroids. Jeff's games rarely go as planned. But he is just such a good GM he adapts. Nick couldnt possibly turn completely on me as the Bashaw since Jeff had used Nick's name as part of the Bashaw's title.

Congrats on getting all the time slots filled for games!

But when are you planning on sleeping? evil grin

coolyork06 Oct 2018 12:54 p.m. PST

My brother Jim and I loved being the French in this game . First we thought we would go to a nice cafe in town , but quickly realized the locals where up to no good but couldn't get back to our nice little gunboat fast enough . God I hate Pirates and Germans !

SgtGuinness12 Oct 2018 10:53 a.m. PST

Lol, no sleep till Brooklyn!

JB
