I myself love Fire & Fury but there are lots of other good rules sets out there

For figs it is hard to beat Pendragon

Have you looked at Altar of Freedom. They have a Gettysburg AAR in video which is pretty impressive. You fight battles with multiple Corps.May not be your cup of tea at that level? I use Field of Battle II for my smaller battles. Each 4 stand unit is a regiment. Love the rules! We have played about a dozen or so battles with them for the Acw.

You'll find lots of choices for this period.

Thanks.

Although I don't have any I really like the GHQ figures. For rules you could consider They Couldn't Hit an Elephant by TooFatLardies (TFL). I beleive the basing is the same as that used for F&F. I have the Napoleonic version of these TFL rules and like them very much.

I like Cracker Line Miniatures myself – also a Fire and Fury user.

"Fire & Fury"…all my 10mm ACW are Magister Militum/Perrin miniatures. Need to fill out a Union Corps and a Confederate division……considering Cracker Line.

Second the recommendation for Altar of Freedom if you want the whole battle on one 6x4 table.

You might want to check out Old Glory's 10mm like. Infantry are mounted in strips (some love, some hate) which I find easier to paint.

Although a die-hard Johnny Reb III player myself, I 2nd the recommendation of Altar of Freedom. It gives a very good game and you can fit G'burg on the table.

went with Cracker Line with some Pendraken and MM mixed in.
Bases are 25.4mm x 14mm.
Went with 14mm since
a) 10mm tend not tip as do the 15s with this base width
b) looks better when used for Regimental games requiring 2 base ranking , for representing 2 rank formations.

Rules: Fire n Fury

Another vote for Cracker Line. Bill is constantly adding new stuff to his line of figures and buildings.

Rules: Fire and Fury.

I use pendraken Figs for my ACW and I love the figures.
It also helps that I live about 1/2 mile from their workshop so I can just pop down and pick a few figs up when needed.
