LOL. The guy runs a celebration event, makes a simple error on a quick post, and gets blasted for proofreading. Wow.

Therefore, I think I had to let him know, here, in public, instead of private, because other than jumping through further hoops, it was the only way to let the author know.

Nothing quite so grand, but we're playing a Peninsular War encounter tonight. It's a kinda birthday here too, because this is the first time my Napoleonic collection will get a proper outing.

Napoleon! I'm not usually a fan of despots but, despite his many faults (including being no judge of character), he was the best of them.

He's in pretty good shape. Doesn't look a day over 175.

Where I come from, pointing out that a glaring error in a post on a public forum is unlikely to engender confidence in a publisher's products, is called telling the truth. You've never met me. Calling me a "hater" says more about you than me.

Actually, I do understand the word. The irony comes from you judging a publisher on one post, then defending your position by attributing remarks to me that I never said based on one post. I did not use the word 'hater,' but then you state that it says something about me. Irony. QED.

I hate marketing – I have big feet (Euro 49) and those marketing people alwez put me in the outsize bracket.
