Some shirkers I have painted for Bolt Action. I enjoyed this little "Frankenstein" type of project.

Beautiful figures. It is a shame to degrade these, but you can do so by adding a Volkssturm armband

As it happens, these are not Volksturms but from the Legion Freies Indien.

Yes, the turbans and skin tones made me think they were Free Indians. From Indian Army unit troops captured by the Germans in North Africa and Italy. A similar thing happened in the PTO with some of the Indian troops captured by the IJFs.
