just wondering how effective were the m47 dragon heat round
also the m40 106mm heat round
had heard rounds from this time frame had to hit armor straight on within 10-15 degrees to work, was this the same for the above mentioned?

Agreed … generally if the "probe" at the end of HEAT warheads does not hit the target "directly" it may not detonate.
