The only forum on the entire globe (I think) dedicated to gaming the Korean War.

I like it!

With the release of the large ranges from Pendraken in 10mm/12mm, it should certainly see a resurgence in interest for the ground conflict.

The air conflict has always been a good choice for evenly matched aircraft as well.

Already have another new member…I hope to see more. The group has been a bit more active of late (and yes, the Pendraken release have something to do with that).

I do wonder about the lack of interest. ( Which I share.) Maybe because it appears to be primarily a WW II type of infantry heavy ground war that is actually post WW II. The Pacific land war in WW II is less popular than in Europe.
Agree the air war is different as it is definitely more modern.

Good Luck!

Joe

I see it as a lack of "Panzers" in the Korean War as well as the PTO/CBI WWII … Many gamers like lots & lots of AFVs on the board. The "Rule of Cool" I think it is called … evil grin

Tons of armor in Korea books out there, including one on Marine Corps tank actions…so one could have the "cool" factor!

Oh I don't doubt that. I have a book or two on the topic myself. But generally it was not a big tank on tank war. But it still happened …
