How did you get that green area so bright, is it lit or just very bright/metallic paint? |

The green areas on the burnthrough laser sides are Createx airbrush paint – Pearl Lime, one coat over the base coat. I also considered a turquiose color, which I used for the engine grills on the UCM frigates. The base paint is a metallic black. Recipe is 3 drops Reaper Pure Black, 2 drops Reaper Polished Silver. Highlighting is 3 drops Pure Black, 3 drops Polished Silver, 1 drop Reaper Pure White. |

Thanks guys. I should have the 4 frigates done tomorrow and I can then get some pictures up. Whew, all that detail was a lot to paint; I simply didn't want to spend the time to highlight/shade everthing there. They still turned out fine, I think. |
