I know a bit about photography of small models, especially when light is not ideal.

You just try zooming in on some of those images…let us say the ambulance, or even the brass buckles on the cuirassiers at the edge of that picture.

I will now go back to try to learn more about settings used, whether f number, ISO/ASA, exposure time etc

I could learn much from this.

Let me then add to this. Mrs Deadhead was sipping a rose and playing nicely with her Ipad in our study. My message was long finished, when she asked what I was looking at (grateful not bare ladies I suspect). Her reaction was….what brilliantly detailed photography and to ask what they used for lighting. I suspect the answer now is a phone carried by any 12 year old!. But she was impressed too. She is not a novice at the photo thing let us say.

Actually I took these with a new iphone – don't even know the model number as I didn't buy it. They came out quite well!

I love the contrasty paintwork – it show well in the pictures

Beautiful figures and a very impressive looking wargame.

The pictures are very crisp which makes a great change from some snaps that are published in a blurred style.

The new cameras on mobiles seem to get better and better.

With an eye for composition the sky is the limit.

Best wishes,

Chris
