For this year's International Naval Wargaming Day, I played a couple a couple short Spanish American War games using David Manley's Broadside and Savo rules.

The first was an encounter in the Caribbean between heavy ships of the US Atlantic Squadron and Admiral Cevera's cruiser squadron, which did not turn out well for the Spanish.

The second was the interception of the US battleship Oregon by Cevera's squadron. Which went a little better for the Spanish.

You can read more about the rules and battles on my blog.
