To complete my paper armies for the Jacobite Rebellion, I've put together some of the lovely Scottish buildings that are included in Peter Dennis's book "Battle for Britain: Wargame the Jacobite '45". More info here: link

Roger and I gave Mike permission to pick up that book at Historicon. Alas! It was sold out when he went back. |

I can never get my card buildings to look so good. Gentle folk in 3 dimensions, but peasants just cardboard cutouts: it was ever thus in art! |

"Gentle folk in 3 dimensions, but peasants just cardboard cutouts" Peasants can only afford 2 dimensions. |

@Advocate: "I can never get my card buildings to look so good." My biggest tip for card buildings is to paint all the folds with a wash to disguise the white paper showing through. It is amazing the difference this makes. Any darkish coloured wash will do – I used dark green for these particular models. |
