I have just completed my first buildings for the Italian Wars. I could not really find what I was looking for commercially, so I built my own using dental stone and molds from Hirst Arts. There are a number of pictures on my blog.

I enjoyed building these structures, but I quickly learnt that they take a lot of time to build and they really don't save much money compared with buying a ready finished building.

Any constructive comments from more experienced builders are welcome.

They look really nice. The only addtional advice I might give would be to paint an occasional brick a slightly different shade. A little variation will give a more realistic look.
