I`ve just started a playtest of my Nemea River scenario… here are a few photos…

So, thus far… the two armies advanced into contact and skirmishers engaged in missile fire on the flanks. At the northern end of the battle Spartan javelinmen are hit, but on the southern, Spartan skimishers and peltasts are doing well. The Athenian cavalry is now shaken and the cavalry command will not be able to advance – in the next turn the cavalry will have to make a command morale test. Athenian javelinmen have taken a few hits but only the Athenian peltasts have scored a hit or a disorder against the enemy; the second Spartan hoplite base is disordered.

Next comes calculating the impetus "Epíthesi" combat bonus….

Nemea Scenario
There are only a few disorders amongst the heavy infantry of both armies after one turn of fighting. At the start of a new turn a morale test for the Athenian cavalry has been failed and the Alliance left wing looks to be in serious trouble. Under the direct command of the CinC, Aristodamos, the overlapping Spartan right has pushed the Athenian`s peltasts back, exposing the Athenian hoplite`s left flank.

southern flank… the Spartans winning.

But for a rather bad die roll the Theban`s wing column should have pushed the Spartan`s peltasts back in the north also, but perhaps the sheer weight of the Theban formation will be enough to over-power the Eleans and Sycions opposite them?

northern flank… the Thebans are being held.

The second trun of shooting and combat to follow….

No invulnerable lion?

No, apparently the lion was not so invulnerable.
