As the title says, I have finally finished building the 15mm PBR model by Armaments in Miniature, and the result is up on my blog. If you have an interest in Vietnam-era Brown Water Navy, then drop by and take a look. Spoiler alert: it's a VERY nice model.

Brian,
Nice review and your skill as a modeler shows through again; great job! I need you in this period to inspire me.
Where do you get the tires to hang off the sides of your models?

Joe

Sorry guys, I keep forgetting to add a link for some reason. It is: link

Joe: On this model, the tires came with it. For the Tango boat photos I sent you, they are from a model railroad company called Durango Press. They make auto tires and large truck tires in white metal. You can find them here: jlinnovative.com but I bought them on eBay, I think.

EDIT: I forgot to say that AiM's kit will make anybody's skills look good!

Definitely going to have to buy an AiM kit or two when I roll back to Vietnam!

I have two of the Gomi Designs PACVs that I plan to use as counts-as PBRs (Battlefront's rules don't give an option for PACVs), but I don't have any other Brown-Water Navy boats. Which is a little weird considering that I have an entire battalion of infantry!

Nice boat, very nice boat. Impressed how 'clean' it looked as you say "right out of the package".
