A simple but effective model. Robust too – mine was one of the few models to survive years of intensive carpet combat without any damage at all!

It's a classic plane and when I saw the new tool version that Airfix brought out a few years ago I took a break from modelling armour to make a few aircraft. What I liked about the new tool version is that you can open up the loading hatches on the wing – fantastic detail.
