Very dramatic posing, but I am not sure the sculptor could decide (or even have a foggy idea) as to what carbine he intended to model.

Also they all seem to have shoulder epaulettes, like they're all officers. And the figures with sabers do not have scabbards.

Going the fantasy route, I see.

Some of the worst I've seen.

"Some of the worst I've seen."

If you are talking about historical accuracy, then I would have to agree with you. However, if one is going to use these in a fantasy West setting (Dracula's America, In Her Majesty's Name, Gaslight, or some similar genre), then I would have to say that they are some of the best miniatures that I have seen.

I was gonna pretty much everything (disparaging) that has been said here. But no one had commented yet! And I didn't want to start off so ugly! I guess I shoulda… Just horrible. Horrible. One positive… nice painting.

I am with Kevin C on this one. I think they are great sculpts when you consider the intended purpose.
I was in the kick starter for some of the cowboys for this range and my only slight complaint is how thin the figures are.

Yeah they are great if you want Fantasy Cowboys. But WHY call them 7th Cavalry? Call 'em 7ish Cav or something completely different. 212 Green Cav? 87 Plaid Cav? No weapon ever looked like that. No Trooper carried a sabre without a scabbard. No Trooper ever had epaulettes. I mean get something right. No Cav, EVER looked like these dudes. Not even in the worst Hollywood western. Sorry… Oh yeah, nice paint job (again)
