Which specific dogs, historical or fictional, do you wish you had in miniature?

Grelber03 Aug 2018 7:35 p.m. PST

Bobby from the old 66th at Maiwand (though he looks to be sort of generic dog, and it should be possible to find a good stand in)
Farmer Maggot's dogs, growling and threatening to eat that mushroom thievin' scamp, Frodo Baggins
Argos from The Odyssey

Of course, if somebody wanted to make dogs, I'd be interested in buying miniatures of the dogs I've had.

Grelber, Bobby is included on the command sprue of the plastic Perry Sudan/NWF British set.

I have some nice 15mm dogs in my ACW and 7YW armies.

Königsberger Paukenhund, of course: link

Timbo W04 Aug 2018 8:35 a.m. PST

I have Boy, Prince Rupert's poodle in 15mm.

Winston Smith04 Aug 2018 9:09 a.m. PST

It would be nice to see all the major breeds, and a few mutts covered in 28mm.
Back when I was doing my Irish games, I was looking for a Mister McGrath greyhound. Why? Just because.

I've always wanted to see a fox hunt interrupted by flying saucers.

GW actually did Farmer Maggot and his dogs in miniature in their LotR range. Surprisingly these are still available from their website:
