An interesting selection; my own passing interest in the period was inspired by "The Abraham Lincoln Brigade" by Arthur H. Landis, who served with the Internationals in 1937 and 1938. I was fortunate enough to find a copy of a limited edition publication of this book for veterans of the Lincoln Brigade in a Berkeley, CA bookstore-- with a handwritten inscription, this, like a well- worn Astra 400 from Vizcaya mated with a Republica Espana magazine are a couple of touchstones of history that never fail to move me.

Thank you, Armand.
