I'm contemplating trying out the sprays from these two firms. Seems hard to come by the Plastic Soldier cans in the U.S. Anyone have any experience with one versus the other? I may also try the Krylon and Rustoleum cammo sprays against them but the colors are limited in the applicability. |

Also depends on the material being sprayed;metal, plastic, resin, can make a diff on how it sticks. |

I've used both on plastic, resin and metal with no issues. I always use an acrylic undercoat (cheap auto type) and was the parts before any paint is applied. As far as results are concerned I haven't seen any difference between the 2 products, both give a nice even coat. |

Good point on washing, this used to be standard advice, now it seems to be forgotten very often. Any sort of residue on the metal, resin, etc can hamper adhereance of paint. |

There is no residue on metal or plastic. The manufacturing process does not require mold release. Resin on the other hand… |

Krylon Fusion paint for the win. No surface prep required. |
