"Death of Glory - Longlier Scenario" Topic

For the author, Jessee Scarborough – hopefully you're monitoring this board:

In this scenario (scenario 2) the German 88th infantry regiment has a 'trained' troop quality which is lower than German infantry regiments have in all the other scenarios. Was that a intentional or a typo?

Yes, that seems to be a typo. One, I had not caught before.

I generally rated the Germans in 1914 as Experienced, Morale 9; with the French as Trained, Morale 8 with their "elite" troops such as the Colonial troops or Chasseurs as Regulars, Morale 9. French artillery are usually rated as Regulars.

Yes, thanks to Grumble. Had been trying since April to get my registered account activated so I could post this on the ToB forum.

I did play the scenario as written with the German infantry as trained. It came down to the last turn with a failed morale test giving the Germans a slight edge. My game was very similar to the game posted on the ToB forum.
