Does anyone have photos of the Sash & Saber 40mm SYW figures? I'd like to see what all of them look like if possible, especially the cav.

Thanks.

This should help. You will need to go back over much older posts to get to the cavalry.

You're welcome Nigel. At least once every 2-3 months I peruse your blog just to enjoy looking at any new stuff…besides the fact that your painting is great…I can't believe how many units you paint…Please continue!
Cheers!

I wouldnt mind getting some of those figures but even without photos, which one would assume would be possible for a 21st Century guy, there are some key things missing:

1.Cuirassiers for Both sides
2.Pandours
3.Mounted Officers
4.Freikorps
5. Bosniaks

As far as Im concerned the range is only half finished.

Same goes for the AWI Range which is very nice but missing some key items.

Beautifully painted figures.

MiniPigs, yes that is a problem throughout the industry. Too many sculptors/manufacturers do not complete a line of figures for many reasons which is why it is so frustrating to start using a particular line of figures only to find out after you've invested money & time that their range will not be completed.
I guess the only way to fill out the units you need would be to commission it. Not sure if everyone knows but Doug at The Miniatures Service Center can do just that. I'm thinking of doing SYW French cavalry because there is a good bit of French infantry available at his site. Something to think about.

For an 18th Century Guy, you display some 21st Century thinking.

What French cavalry would you want?

I'm fairly sure that the Trident French AWI Hussars can pass as French SYW Hussars and the S&S Austrian Dragoons can be used for French Dragoons.
