Definitely not an Alexander of the tabletop. Probably more like Grant even if I don't have the resources of Grant. I try to make my opponent react to me and if they beat me (which they usually do) it's because my offensives failed. I try to make my games as quick and bloody as possible. If I was a real general, my troops would probably call me the Butcher. |

I have had opponents tell me I did everything perfect, and have still had the stuffing knocked out of my forces. Other times completely missed the mark on tactics and had the stuffing knocked out of my forces. So dice seem to be more a factor than tactics. I lose far more then I win. |

Tactics…. tactics… Ahh yes, "Ah, well… who wants to live forever? DIVE!" or possibly – "Open fire! All weapons, now! Charge the lightning field! I take personal responsibility in the Emperor's name!" Although I'll admit both of them get strange looks in Napoleonic or Ancients battles. And course, one cannot got wrong with a good "Tora! Tora! Tora! Death from the Skies". That one work with Hun horse archers as well. Yep, I got tactics |
