I am usually not a fan of resin or plastics. I have done various ones like Gripping Beast, Wargames Factory, Brother Vinnis, and Hasslefree. These looked interesting so I tried a couple. Took awhile to get them. I was getting worried; but they showed up nicely packed. Looking at the bits and pcs, I wasn't sure what I was getting into. But they are wonderful figs. Little pegs and sockets for all arms, legs, heads, weapons. The hair and beards flow away from the heads very nicely and look great connected to the bodies. Tons of details down to patterns on the clothing.(of which I wouldn't try to paint.) I didn't use their bases which are nice. I base to plastic base and a metal washer. These are big figs. 30mm. They dwarf some of the manufacturers. But others they work well.( west wind Nordfolk, Gorgon, and Footsore). Hopefully I can do a review on all the Viking Mfgs. I have tried. Anyway. I really like these figs and will get more.

Anyone who knows these figs will see the priest is missing his cape. I forgot to put it on before attaching the head. Oh well.

Nice work. I can hear the Vikings saying, "what sort of giant trees did they fell to make these 10-foot wide planks?" and "I don't care, because I see the biggest beer glass in the world just ahead of us."

I bought some at Historicon and they are beautiful figures but you are spot on about the size. The Norman knights that I bought are HUGE compared to my Perry, Old Glory, Crusader, and other 28mm figures. The horses are gigantic compared to the other manufacturers horses. They will not mix in well with other 28mm figures in my opinion.

Haven't bought Cavalry and now for sure would not. But I already mix all the different sized infantry and villagers. It doesn't bother me. I just make sure all the newer figs I base have the same size base. Some times I even double up on the plastic or metal washers to make the figure appear taller to mix better.
