Any reviews or feedback on Matthew Lawson's Brown Water Navy range of printed 1/600 ACW ironclads/ships available on Shapeways?

Here are some posts from The G Dog that contain Brown Water Navy ships:

They look very nice. I have a soft spot for ACW Ironclads.

Some nice ones, but boy are they spendy. Wish there were more Confederate "cottonclads" available from someone.

Brown Water Navy models are very good. I have 5 and would buy more if they were not duplicates of the ones I already have. Good buy IMHO.

Greetings! I'm actually owner of the Brown Water Navy Shapeways store and although I have talked to Skill lvl 0 and am grateful for his review and comments, I failed to look at the TMP to see things posted here until now!

I've added a lot more ships since these postings and have been converting more to 1/1200 scale as that is far more reasonable price wise.

I've been trying to adjust the 1/600 scale ones too for better pricing, but there's only so much I can do.

So I hope everyone can check out the site again (links above still work). I'm adding ships pretty much weekly now.

Thanks again!

MG I am glad you checked in on TMP. It has bee awhile since I last visited your site. I see several ships that were not there before. I believe I will be placing an order very soon. I too would encourage you to look into a few more Confederate Cotton Clad class ships. I thank you for all that you do. I have a friend that purchased your 1/600 Eastport model and it is a very nice ship, clean without all the bad stuff that turns me off to 3-D printing. Now that I know your are regularly adding ships to your line I will check back more often.

More Confederate Cotton-clads are definitely on my list up next, so keep an eye out over the next week or two!

Will do MG, thanks!!
