"Bolt action HE templates for 15mm" Topic

What are your recommendations for 15mm HE templates? Should these be cut down in size by half or leave them the way they are?

I should of stated cut in half from the original size.

I would leave them the way there are. I would leave everything the way it is written for 15mm. That goes for a lot of rules sets.

I just acquired Bolt Action and since I already have 100s or WWII 15mm individually mounted, I intend to play it, as written, with 15mm. Given how scales are shrunk for games, it might actually look better at 15mm than at 28mm.

it really depends on the minimum distance between figures within a squad.

Usually, the 2 inch template cover between 2-3 figures while the 3 inch figures covers around 8 figures. It should be the same if you play at 15mm.

This move to HE templates in BA 2 meant that my 15 mils mounted three to a base would be greater effected, so I just stuck with the dice for figures hit as the version 1 rules. I believe its the similar scores for when dicing to see how many are hit in buildings in BA 2. Otherwise I too play as written and agree the game looks better in 15mm

I am also using BA with 15mm and I actually bought a second-hand copy of the rules, solely on recommendation, just so I can use the H.E. rules.
