Amazing project.

Great effort, workmanship, and--above all--imagination.

But this "Khartoum" is as authentic as a fairy castle.

So much investment of everything with no more research than watching the eponymous movie--perhaps too often.

Even the bare minimum of research would have revealed the city had no walls, and hardly any two-story buildings, much less the palaces evident here.

Sad to see such effort essentially wasted, at least for an historical war game subject.

Wow, aren't you Debbie Downer, TVAG. Remember what mothers tell their children, "if you can't say something nice then don't say anything at all.

I'm very impressed with the work done on the gentleman's project and I'd be happy to have it on my game table.

Really fine well crafted model, pay no attention to the nay-sayers.

Thanks for coming to my defence guys…

And yes it is just a fantasist view of Khartoum….it's actually a fantasist version of a middle eastern town…

More progress soon

Eric The Shed!

Given your explanation, I rescind my "Debbie Downer" criticism.

Perhaps I was fooled (a common enough occurrence) by the headline stating yours was "Khartoum" for Colonial gaming.

I apologize, and wish to see the finished work here soon!

Dont worry no offense taken…the header is a bit misleading as this did start as a Khartoum build and has evolved ;-)
