I know some here and on Facebook did the math on my posts and the impending convention and figured out I was short on time. Shorter than I realized.

Well I pulled it off, even if I was still painting about 4 hours before the first game. I had a lot of help from friends. Lou and Alan helped building and painting. Alan and Bob helped setup and takedown. Tim supplied me some loaner scatter terrain which was way better than mine. My daughter even helped paint. And my wife for putting up with my crazy schemes.

I ran the game twice, with the Good team winning both times. But only by a few points each game, could have gone either way. I ran a total of 20 players through the game and I think everyone had a good time.

Anyway here are some pics from the game at set up and some in game shots. I even did a video walk around, but not sure how to post.

Cloudcaptain, I assume you mean the Dino head? It's a Hot Wheels toy, T-Wrecks.

This was a beautiful looking game. It should have won an award hands down. This is the type of game that needs to be set up for the entire weekend for viewing. A true work of art. There should be a big push for Historicon 2019 theme to be MEGA GAMES and be left up for the entire weekend for all to see. Just my two cents I love the artwork and creativity many GM'S bring to the table and Jeff is one of the best.

Poniatowski25 Jul 2018 4:51 a.m. PST

@Rangers… correct.. it was absolutely stunning, well attended and everyone playing had a great time….

And YES, Jeff is one of the best.

Xintao25 Jul 2018 6:12 a.m. PST

Thanks guys.

I have to second all the comments: this is superb work and looks like lots of fun to play.

But I especially have to emphasize Eric the Shed's comment: this terrain is not only beautiful, it's playable. It was created with a loving balance--very hard to achieve--between gorgeous appearance and playability. The wonderfully rugged terrain also has plenty of flat, suitably-sized surfaces to securely place minis. What an excellent, excellent job.
