Have to say with Andrew Lincoln leaving I think I will have to give up on this series. They lost their way when they started the whole Negan thing (although he has to be one of the all time great villains ever)and the "War" has to be one of the sillier portrayals of combat out there. All that banging away full auto and no one wearing any extra magazines or worried about wasting ammunition has always grated on me but the "War" battles were just plain silly. A real shame and unless they come up with something special the 9th Season will probably be the last. |

Ive only seen a couple episodes (literally) but after reading your thoughts guys I had to comment.
As to the "War" battles you speak of. It sounds like those old and not-so-old films when they shoot the '12 shot'? revolver, and never reload?
Doe's anybody check for continuity? Yes its 'just a show', but theres a point & things start to look just Stupid. From your opinions; I'd say this is typical Hollywood now days. I.E., when they have No Ideas, put anything on the screen because 'money is still coming in'. |

In the Walking Dead a car is the best possible cover against assault rifles. You can hide behind one and you're impervious to assault rifle fire. Also the survivalists are among the worst shots ever, being able to miss stationary man-sized targets from ranges of ten or so meters. |

Great Trailer Armand. I was a big fan until Negan bashed Glens head in. I just petered out after that.
I think because Glen Carl and Maggie were the future of the series other wise you just end in constant Rick story cycle and you know its not going to go anywhere.
They need to hang Negan if they want me back. :) |

Just last night at our FLGS I played my first game of WD, All Out War(?)
It was fun, but I got to admit, from the 'aar' conversation of the 1st game 2 others ran, I got the Quick idea Negan is 'the Power Gamers' character. If you can get him, "why play" that players going to win. Just my impression. But Not having him, the game was pretty fun, I think more 'common' – midrange characters make a game more balanced and fun for all. Just MHO. |

These people needed to have employed an author to explain to them that a a story needs to be a journey. :( Same with Star Wars. They killed the skywalker journey off in a clumsy fashion too. :( |

Love the show ….. but I haven't watched one episode of the last season. Just lost interest. I liked the Glenn almost dying with the dumpster scene only to really die a few episodes later. I think what did it though was the battle scenes at point blank range….not hitting anyone…. or the car doors and worse picnic tables seemed bulletproof. Reminded me of A-team scenes…. meh |
