"Rules Forums Dead?" Topic

It appears that discussion of rules has migrated back to the Message Boards, as the Rules Forums seem unused and inactive?

A failed experiment to let every rules system have its own forum for discussion? Or, was that void already filled by Facebook, Yahoo groups, and independent forums that already existed?

Because they were so cunningly hidden I suspect many TMPers, like myself, forgot they existed.

I never used them. Why would I?
As the Crispy One said, not only are they well hidden from me, but also from anyone else who would wish to participate.
All the rules I use are fine just where they are, in the main forums.

Rules are meant to be broken. Or made up.

Half baked idea. Its never gonna happen in its current state. Same with The Exchange. A single board for Exchange would make more sense. Somebody make a poll suggestion.

It's out of date and unused. Heck, just for grins I checked the Napoleonic board and saw Impetus and DBA.

iirc this is exactly what the majority of people suggested would happen when the idea was first suggested / implemented. Seemed a poor idea to me at the time and so it has proved.

Why yes, yes it was. Bad idea from the get go, and damn near impossible to find.
